Miguel Willis currently serves as the inagural LSAC Presidential Innovation Fellow. Where he oversees Access to Justice Tech Fellows Program, which he founded while obtaining his JD from Seattle University School of Law. The Fellows Program pairs law students with legal services organizations to develop projects that support the use technology, data, design thinking to bridge the Justice Gap.
Miguel’s entrepreneurial spirit, drive to innovate, and commitment to diversity and access to justice earned recognition by the American Bar Association as an 2018 “Legal Rebel” He also competed as a finalist in the Social Venture Partners Fast Pitch Completion and was recognized as the 2016 National Jurist Law Student of the Year.
Committed to leveraging his law degree in a nontraditional way to solve seemingly intractable problems. Upon graduating law school, Miguel worked at the Alaska Court System to help solve the problem of access to justice for low-income communities.
