LSC's 2020 Innovations in Technology Conference

How can we work better together, leverage institution knowledge and expertise, and foster meaningful relationships to more effectively serve communities in need? By using communication tools to share, engage, and collaborate. This is especially important when working with a distributed team as more organizations provide the opportunity for staff to work remotely. In this session, you will hear from voices across a range of organizations about the tools, best practices, and processes used every day to communicate and collaborate, manage projects with internal and external stakeholders, and address security and privacy concerns and safeguards. Several tools will be discussed and demonstrated, including Slack for interoffice communication, G Suite (Google Docs and Sheets) for collaborating, Basecamp, JIRA and Trello for managing projects, and GoToMeeting, Zoom, and Slack Calls for video and audio chats.
