Media can be a powerful tool for educating key audiences, including intended users of an innovation, potential funders, and policymakers. But lack of knowledge about when and how to pursue media coverage can be a significant barrier. The goal of this session will be for advocates who are interested in pursuing media coverage to hear from peers who are successful media advocates for tech innovations, and from civil justice media/communications strategy experts. While there has been some strong media coverage of legal aid tech innovations, we believe there is significant potential for more, and hope that demystifying the process will result in greater confidence and increased media outreach.
